It's always fun designing something new - as in something that truly that hasn't been done before. And at a venue like Barr Mansion, which has seen thousands of couples walk down the aisle, sometimes that's easier said than done. But for Taylor and Ryan, we pulled out all the stops to create an unforgettable, custom arch to transform the ballroom doors into a massive, floral-covered backdrop for their ceremony. A one-of-a-kind look was the result, and a timeless design captured perfectly by Averie Claire.
From the beginning Taylor had her designs and vision pretty well thought-out. And clearly her sense of style is impeccable, as evident in these photos. But throughout the design process we continued to push boundaries to try things that had never been done before and to take the initial vision to the next level. Every step of the way, Taylor's mom was their to be supportive of her and her vision. The end result of all our collaborating could not have been more rewarding. Taylor's goal was to create a wedding design that she could look back on in 50 years and still be pleased with the aesthetic decisions. All it takes is one glance through these beautiful, timeless and elegant images, to see the mission was accomplished. Congratulations Taylor and Ryan - we loved working with you!
