We worked with the fabulous team of Engaged Events out of Dallas to design this beautiful spring wedding at the family’s ranch in the Texas hill country. Set on top of a beautiful mesa, there couldn’t have been a more beautiful setting for Katie and Brandon to say “I Do,” and we absolutely loved working with this entire team and family to bring this vision to life.

The week leading up to the wedding day was rainy, but thankfully the skies cooperated and allowed the outdoor ceremony to continue as planned. Which was wonderful for many reasons, but also because the ceremony took place under a white gazebo built by the family. The view was perfection already, but we added romantic florals lining the aisle and cascading in and around the gazebo to accentuate and soften the natural surroundings. Moving inside, every detail in the tent was meticulously planned to create a magical atmosphere for guests to feel comfortable with classic and luxurious details amidst the rustic backdrop of the ranch. Hundreds of candles twinkling throughout the space brought warmth and coziness to the overcast day. And we loved the personalization within the details, like Brandon’s Bourbon Bar and the couple’s dogs making an appearance on the wedding cake. But our favorite detail was a labor of love installing the dripping greenery and blue delphinium over the dance floor, creating a focal point to the room as guests danced the night away.

It was an honor to design for this family, and I’ll look back on the photos for years to come with fond memories of this beautiful ranch and the amazing team of people working together to bring this hill country wedding to life.
