People from the Driskill were even taking pictures. They loved how the room was dressed up by your design, yet fit the hotel – and so did I of course. I was so sad to only see you briefly when you were hard at work, but I was so happy to see you and your work just took my breath away. You created my dream world. I have only been able to tell people that my wedding was beyond anything I could dream of, and the first image that comes to mind is the table arrangements! I bragged to everyone about how you were my eyes and ears in Austin, and even helped us find the PERFECT linens to match our decor. I am truly blessed to have worked with you, and will never forget it for the rest of my life! You are gifted, and I will recommend you as much as I possibly can. Amazing, beautiful, breathtaking! We are still getting compliments on the flowers. As we look at our wedding photos, the beauty of the flowers really stands out. Abby was a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable on different types of flowers, what was in season, and what would hold up in an afternoon wedding. She was very patient as we kept asking for revisions to get the price down. In the end she gave us exactly what we wanted at an affordable price.

Oh wow, what can I say about Abby and the flowers?? AMAZING. I must say I went into this thinking that flowers seemed to be a waste of money for something that was just going to die soon and cost a ton of money, being the frugal person that I am. Boy was I wrong- the flowers really “made” the wedding. All the bouquets were BEAUTIFUL and the colors were perfect (also all the corsages and boutonnieres). They look great in the pictures. The table toppers were gorgeous, and look so fabulous in all the pictures. Abby was SO wonderful in understanding what I wanted, even when I didn’t. She had a vision that made our wedding even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. And the cards laid out with the flowers were gorgeous too! I only got to see them after the fact in the pictures, but wow! The list Abby sent after we met with her about the flowers detailing all that we had talked about was great- so detailed and I have it forever to show what kinds of flowers I had, since I never know the names of any!

The flowers were AMAZING…exactly how we hoped they would be. Abby definitely understood our vision and our budget and created wonderful bouquets and boutonnieres. The garden arch looked wonderful. We have gotten compliments on the centerpieces. Every single thing was perfect. We can’t think of anything we didn’t LOVE.
Abby, was great! We could not have asked for a better person to help us put everything together. When we had questions, Abby was super quick with responses. We found it VERY easy to plan from a distance because of this. We went down to Austin in February and had a 3 hour marathon planning session with Abby and made a lot of decisions that most folks might have made over several meetings. She made it easy! We corresponded via email for most of the remainder of the planning time through October. Abby was super speedy and always had an answer and/or suggestion. She really seemed to understand what we wanted. She never tried to push things we couldn’t afford and always worked within our means. Based on what we told her about our vision, she suggested flowers and other decor items that were just perfect. When our guest list started shrinking, Abby kept me calm and had great ideas about how to use the ballroom differently. Everything that Abby did was right on point! We can’t thank her enough!

I just wanted to send you a little email to let you know how amazing you are!!!! The flowers and all were nothing short of PERFECT! I can not tell you how incredible I felt when I first laid eyes on it the splendor that was your handy work! My expectations were met and then some… and that’s saying a lot as we both know:) My mom and I were in awe that you nailed every single detail! From the Bouquets’ (absolutely exquisite) to the Buffet table, the cakes, to each and every centerpiece (the Succulents ended up being my favorite!). You hit the mark in every way Abby! I am still in love with my bridal bouquet! I can’t belive how gorgeous it turned out! From the very beginning, you understood my vision. Over time, as I made changes and adjustments, you were completely understanding and always offered insightful suggestions. You were even able to track down the hellaborus and astrantia (which I’m sure wasn’t easy). I’ll never forget walking into the bridal suite on my wedding day and seeing my gorgeous, lush bouquet perched on top of the dressing table. I think I literally squealed with delight.Everyone kept complimenting me on the centerpieces all night long, and I still can’t get over how umbelieveable the huppah looked with all the purple and white hydrangea. We were blessed to have Abby Daigle design our daughter’s wedding at the Barr Mansion, March 2010. She has a real passion for her clients. Why we love Abby……
My husband and I got married this past February at The Barr Mansion. Abby made all of the centerpieces, bouquets, aisle markers, and the ring pillow for the big day, and they were absolutely gorgeous. Lee and I had been together for just over six years when we started planning our wedding and really wanted it to be perfect, and what we had “waited for”. I was very pleased to find some one who was so thorough and accommodating. I probably changed my mind at least five times, truly, on just my bouquet. She was so wonderful and patient with me. I wasn’t worried to ask questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Abby also happened to be the coordinator for our wedding. It is amazing how many people commented on how smooth our wedding went. We hadn’t been to many and everyone told us to be prepared for something to go wrong, and to roll with it, but it didn’t. Everything from the flowers to the weather was just as we imagined it. A beautiful day that was in fact so because of a couple of people who made it happen. One of those people was Abby. Thanks!
