Abby Daigle, head designer and owner of STEMS, literally grew up in the wedding business here in Austin. Starting from a young age, she now has thousands of weddings and events under her belt. Abby is able to create anything you can dream up. From romantic, soft looks to edgy, modern looks—and everything in between. From weddings to red carpet events—and everything in between. Abby’s background is also in wedding and event coordination, which is an asset as a florist to be able to see the big picture and design accordingly. Abby is an artist who prides herself in working with clients to bring their vision of their wedding or special event to life. Abby is also a professional who prides herself in making this possible within clients’ budgets and without stress. A premier Austin florist, Abby’s mission is to leave clients feeling that the look of the event was perfect and exactly how they imagined it would be.
NATALIE HAMILTON
Natalie Hamilton, leading designer and operations manager of STEMS, is here to help you create the wedding of your dreams. An artistic touch and an eye for design are essential tools for a florist, which Natalie definitely has, but it is her willingness to go the extra mile for her clients that sets her apart. It is not just a job for us, it is a passion, and Natalie exudes that. Studying under Daigle, Natalie caught on very quickly and moved up the ranks to lead designer. We are thrilled to have her head up our team and we know you will love her as much as we do!
RUTH MAYER
Ruth, leading designer and production manager, is hugely responsible for pulling off each and every event. She sources all the supplies, including shopping for those very special items at antique malls or scouring the Internet for that something extra special—she leaves no stone unturned to gather up all the perfect details. As a fashion major, she is also our lead expert on all things crafty. As our sewing expert she hand-makes all our fabric draping, ring bearer pillows, aisle marker containers, fabric-covered boxes, plush fabric panels, etc. etc. You name it, she crafts it. Ruth manages the design team on prep days, and keeps everyone on task. As a designer, Ruth is emerging as top talent—your flowers are in great, great hands!
SHEA MCFARLAND
Shea, leading designer and resident artist on staff. A real eye for design and a true talent, he does all our sketches and creates all those special details that require an artistic touch. Sometimes that means carving a peacock out of floral foam, sometimes it means creating flower chandeliers that are suspended in the air, or even sometimes it means creating a painting of live art out of flowers. Shea has the talent and the patience to create amazing things when put to the test. As one of the only male designers, he is also our “muscle” and we could not do sooooo many things without him.
TIFFANY ATKINSON
Tiffany is our organizational lifeline. She runs the office and just about everything goes through her. In the wedding business, organization and attention to detail are paramount and Tiffany keeps all the right-brained artists on our team in line. She is an essential part of our team, and a bit behind the scenes… but a key member to the entire operation. With multiple events each week, it is her responsibility to get all the flowers ordered and check them to make sure the product is up to our expectations. Tiffany is in the studio with us each week as well, designing, arranging, and delivering for our events!

An entire team of professionals is needed to work each event. Our designers work tirelessly, at all hours, to make sure your day is perfect. There are many hard workers on our team, many of whom you will likely never meet, that are 100% essential to our success. They deserve much more praise than I can give them in a paragraph on the website. It takes an army to pull off most of what we do—and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
